About Us

The City of Krk Tourist Board is a destination management organisation that was established to promote and develop tourism of the Republic of Croatia as well as the economic interests of legal and natural persons that provide hospitality and tourism services or pursue other activities directly associated with tourism in the city of Krk.

The organisation and operation of the Tourist Board is determined by the provisions of the Act on Tourist Boards and the Promotion of Croatian Tourism, Tourism Act, Act on Tourist Board Membership Fees, Tourist Tax Act and other implementing legislation.

The City of Krk Tourist Board is registered by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics under the registration number 03866106 and the activity code 9411, according to the 2007 National Classification of Business Activities. The Personal Identification Number (OIB) is: 29404820233.

Operating as part of the City of Krk Tourist Board is the Tourist Information Centre, where you can receive information pertaining to the:

• tourism and hospitality offering as well as activities at the destination
• cultural, entertainment, sporting and other events in the city and on the island of Krk
• operation of the eVisitor system, registration and deregistration as well as the payment of the tourist tax
• obligations of private rental providers and holiday apartment and home owners
• downloading of promotional material, maps and brochures
